🔹 Hiring: Legal & Compliance Counsel

📍 Abu Dhabi | Head Office

We are looking for a highly experienced Legal and Compliance Counsel with a strong transactional and corporate law background to join a professional legal team in Abu Dhabi.

This role is ideal for a seasoned Transactional Lawyer with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex, high-value agreements and supporting compliance initiatives within a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Draft, review, and negotiate complex corporate and commercial agreements, including Joint Venture and Shareholder Agreements

▪ Provide legal support on corporate transactions, M&A, and restructuring activities

▪ Advise business stakeholders on legal and regulatory risks

▪ Implement and maintain compliance policies (Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing, Conflict of Interest, etc.)

▪ Ensure compliance with UAE and international laws and regulations

▪ Collaborate with senior management and external legal counsel

▪ Conduct legal research and support internal legal training initiatives

Requirements

✔ Minimum 8 years of legal experience , with at least 5 years in the UAE

✔ Common law qualification or education from a UK / European / Western jurisdiction (mandatory)

✔ Strong experience in corporate and commercial law

✔ Proven expertise in drafting complex transactional documents

✔ Prior Experience In Compliance Is Highly Preferred

✔ Experience within a commercial company is mandatory

✔ Background in top-tier law firms is highly desirable

✔ Fluent English (native or equivalent) – exceptional drafting skills required

✔ Fully bilingual: Arabic & English
