Legal and Compliance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal & Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal drafting skills and a deep understanding of RERA regulations in the UAE real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including MOUs, sale and purchase agreements, lease contracts, and service agreements in compliance with RERA guidelines
• Ensure all real estate transactions and company operations adhere to UAE laws and RERA regulations
• Liaise with government entities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel as needed
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise management on implications
• Maintain legal documentation and compliance registers
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to legal compliance
• Provide legal support during property registration, licensing, and renewal processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master’s preferred
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in the UAE, preferably in real estate or property development
• Strong knowledge of RERA laws, UAE civil code, and commercial regulations
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
