We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in legal research, drafting documents, managing case files, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the legal department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case laws, statutes, and regulations.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital legal files and records.
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments for attorneys.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents such as agreements, pleadings, and affidavits.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties as required.
  • Support the legal team in case management and compliance matters.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by senior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or related field.
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Marathi Typing required.

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or legal department.
  • Familiarity with court procedures and filing systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
