<Duties>
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage legal case files and document management systems such as Clio to ensure accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of case information.
- Conduct thorough document review for accuracy, completeness, and relevance; support discovery processes through organized document review and indexing.
- Support project management activities by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining detailed calendars for multiple cases or projects.
- Perform administrative duties such as phone etiquette, organizing files, maintaining schedules, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
<Skills>
- Extensive knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of various practice areas including probate law, family law, criminal defense, civil litigation and personal injury law.
- Proven experience with legal administrative tasks such as document review, proofreading, transcription, filing systems & document management systems like Clio.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Strong writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents that are clear and precise.
- Proficiency in data entry and clerical experience including file organization and record keeping.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
