Legal Assistant - Case Manager

About the Role

We are a personal injury law firm seeking a Case Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their case. This role focuses on guiding clients through treatment, maintaining communication, and ensuring cases move efficiently from intake through settlement. The Case Manager plays a critical role in client satisfaction and case progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during their personal injury case
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment, case status, and next steps
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding PIP benefits and treatment updates
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and settlement readiness
  • Perform case audits to ensure file is complete
  • Work collaboratively with other assistants to ensure case movement and a smooth resolution

Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in personal injury strongly preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, empathetic phone presence
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases at once
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with case management software such as Filevine preferred

You should be comfortable juggling multiple cases, following up consistently, and working closely with clients, providers, and attorneys. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately are key to success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $31.00 per hour
