Legal Assistant - Real Estate
Office Locations: Phoenix
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional Legal Assistant to join our Real Estate Group. The right candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative, a desire to forge powerful relationships, hone their skills and deliver excellent work to advance their career at Quarles & Brady.
Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading, revising, and finalizing legal documents including contracts, deeds, amendments, leases, letter of intent, term sheets and closing instructions. Prepare closing binders for completed real estate transactions.

Copies, distributes, sends (electronically and/or via mail, courier, or express service), file and otherwise handle completed work.

Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.

Submit intake and conflict checks, process time entry and client billing.

Maintain attorney's calendars, schedule travel, appointments, meetings, and conferences.

Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of client relationships and business development.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-5 years with Commercial Real Estate/Transactional law experience preferred.

Possess a positive attitude, be proactive, flexible and a team player.

Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional.

Skilled with use of electronic document management systems.

Possess strong organizational, communication and client services abilities.

Detail oriented with excellent grammar and spelling skills.

Ability to prioritize needs based on urgency, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced team-orientated environment.

Ability to work overtime, when needed.
