OVERVIEW:
Koeller Nebeker Carlson & Haluck LLP is a multi-office law firm, and is seeking a full-time Paralegal for its busy litigation practice in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will possess a paralegal certificate and have approximately five (5) years of experience in litigation in Las Vegas. Other experience in legal positions and/or comparable professional work or management will be considered.

Practice areas may include litigation defense for claims regarding motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction, insurance, trucking and all areas of personal injury.

DUTIES:

• Case Management
• Document Preparation
• Vendor/Witness/Deposition/Expert Coordination
• Tracking Discovery
• Calendaring
• Invoice Processing
• Document Processing (mailing, reviewing, sorting, calendaring and filing)

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/STRENGTHS FOR THE POSITION:

• Familiarity with Las Vegas Courts
• Familiarity with litigation work flow
• Computer and technology proficiency (familiarity a plus for programs/systems such as word, excel, adobe, and for document preparation/management/transmittal tools)
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention and adherence to deadlines and details
• Friendly ability to collaborate with others
• Paralegal Certification and experience with billing a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
