Legal Associate — Litigation (Full-time)

ARETE JURIS, Advocates and Consultants, is hiring full-time Legal Associates (Litigation) for courtroom appearances, drafting pleadings and legal research. Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates having prior Litigation exposure will be preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in courts and tribunals; attend hearings and brief senior counsel.
• Draft plaints, written statements, petitions, affidavits, applications, settlement documents etc.
• Conduct legal research, prepare hearing notes and litigation strategies.
• Manage case files, timelines, service, and follow-up with clients and courts.
• Assist with admissions, procedural compliance and evidence management.

Must-have (minimum)

• LLB (or equivalent). Enrollment with Bar Council of India.
• Strong interest in litigation and readiness for regular court appearances.
• Excellent drafting and legal-research skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Good command of English (read/ write/ speak).
• Freshers with strong academics and litigation interest are encouraged to apply.

Preferred (will boost your application)

• Exposure to or interest in: DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal), High Court litigation, NCLT matters, and real-estate disputes.
• Ability to read, write and speak Marathi.
• Prior internship/courtroom exposure, drafting samples or moot experience.

Pay: ₹96,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per year
