Training Development and Delivery


Create,

maintain, and update training manuals, presentations, and hands-on
exercises covering billing processes and best practices.


Lead

onboarding sessions for new hires and recurring workshops for existing
staff.


Deliver

role-specific training tailored to billing specialists, paralegals, and
attorneys.

Billing Process and Software Expertise


Train

employees on specialized legal billing and accounting software (e.g.,
Aderant, SurePoint, eBillingHub).


Provide

instruction on e-billing portals, including invoice submission, rejection
handling, and appeals.


Teach

firm-wide standards for accurate time and expense tracking.

Procedure and Policy Enforcement


Ensure

compliance with firm billing policies and client-specific billing
guidelines.


Develop

and implement best practices to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and
enhance billing accuracy.


Support

integration of new processes and software into billing workflows.

Support and Communication


Act as

a subject matter expert and resource for billing-related questions.


Serve

as liaison between billing staff, attorneys, legal assistants, and finance
teams.


Collaborate

with department leadership to create and deliver professional development
initiatives.

Reporting and Performance Analysis


Develop

reports to track training outcomes, measure effectiveness, and monitor
billing metrics.


Analyze

billing errors and rejections, identifying patterns and providing
corrective training.


Maintain

accurate and updated billing procedures and training documentation.


Requirements

Bachelor’s

degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.


Prior

experience in legal billing, e-billing, or accounting in a law firm
setting required.


Demonstrated

expertise with legal billing software and e-billing portals.


Strong

communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt training
to different audiences.


Excellent

organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.


Ability

to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and leadership.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • 40-hour work week
