The Legal Consultant will provide expert legal advice and representation in litigation and arbitration matters. The role requires in-depth knowledge of UAE laws, court procedures, and arbitration frameworks. The ideal candidate will handle case preparation, client consultations, contract drafting, and coordination with external counsels, ensuring full compliance with UAE legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Litigation Management
  • Represent clients before UAE courts and relevant authorities.
  • Prepare case files, pleadings, legal memoranda, and court submissions.
  • Coordinate with external advocates for court proceedings when necessary.
  • Review and interpret legal documents, judgments, and case outcomes.
  • Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
  • Handle arbitration cases under ADCCAC, DIAC, ICC, and other arbitration centers.
  • Draft statements of claim, defense, witness statements, and arbitration submissions.
  • Provide legal strategy for negotiation, mediation, and settlement discussions.
  • Advise clients on the enforceability of arbitration awards.
  • Legal Advisory
  • Provide expert opinions on corporate, commercial, and civil law matters.
  • Draft and review contracts, MOUs, and agreements to ensure compliance with UAE law.
  • Advise management and clients on potential legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct due diligence and research for complex cases.
  • Client Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality advisory service.
  • Provide updates and reports to clients and management regarding case status.
  • Attend client meetings, hearings, and arbitration sessions as required.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all documentation complies with UAE laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate legal records and correspondence.
  • Keep up-to-date with legislative developments and court precedents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in litigation and arbitration, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of UAE Civil Procedures Law, Commercial Law, and Arbitration Rules.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Membership in a recognized Bar Association or legal authority is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
