Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified
Legal Consultant
to oversee and manage all legal matters for a group of companies in the UAE. The role involves providing legal advice across
civil, criminal, commercial, and corporate law
, ensuring full regulatory compliance, drafting legal documents, and representing the company's interests with external parties and authorities.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal counsel on civil, criminal, commercial, corporate, and labor laws applicable in the UAE.

Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, NDAs, and MOUs to safeguard company interests.

Represent the company in legal proceedings, settlements, arbitration, or police/labor matters when required.

Manage all company legal documentation including MOA, trade licenses, shareholder agreements, and Power of Attorney.

Ensure compliance with UAE Federal Laws, Civil Code, Commercial Companies Law, and Labor Law.

Liaise with external law firms, government bodies, and free zone authorities for legal matters and submissions.

Handle employee disputes, tenancy issues, supplier claims, and insurance-related legal matters.

Provide legal input in business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

Keep management updated on legislative changes and potential risks affecting the business.

Maintain confidential and organized legal files and case records.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (LLB / LLM).

Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Legal Consultant or Legal Advisor in the UAE.

In-depth knowledge of UAE Civil, Criminal, Commercial, Corporate, and Labor Laws.

Experience dealing with police, courts, and government authorities preferred.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
