Legal Consultant - Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant for our Abu Dhabi office!!!

Preference:

Candidates with experience in the IT industry will be highly preferred for this position.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience as a Legal Consultant in the IT field.

Comprehensive knowledge of:

• European Union GDPR, PDPL, Labour Law, Company Law, and Civil Transaction Law of the UAE.
• IT Tendering process, from early bidding preparation to project award.

Scope of Duties:

• Review and draft Software agreements, IT partnership agreements, IT reseller agreements, teaming agreements, NDAs, legal notices, settlement and discharge agreements, SLAs, and all IT & AI-related legal matters.
• Review RFPs from a legal perspective and ensure alignment in the concerned agreements.
• Negotiate with third-party cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hardware vendors.
• Manage software licensing (Proprietary vs. Open Source), patent filings for new algorithms, and protect trade secrets (e.g., source code).
• Draft labor agreements, purchase agreements, and internal meeting records.

Skills Required:

• Fluency in Arabic & English (reading and writing).
• Proficiency in PDF, Excel, Word, and basic IT tools.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
