Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel specialized in e-commerce, online sales, digital marketplaces, advertising, and promotional activities, with a solid command of Turkish legislation and strong expertise in contract drafting and review.

Qualifications:

• Having a Bachelor's Degree in law from reputable law faculties in Turkey (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in law offices and/or legal departments
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong sense of strict deadlines and commitment to hard work
• Proficient in G-Drive, MS Office, Excel, UYAP, contract management tool etc. and able to use other robotic programs
• Adept at legal research
• Task-oriented
• Possesses a strong legal acumen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates strong team spirit and enjoys collaborating within a global network.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Mobile to travel in Turkey and abroad
• For male candidates, military service must be completed

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full legal compliance of e-commerce, marketplace operations with applicable laws and regulations
• Oversee advertising and promotional activities in accordance with Law No: 6563, the Turkish Commercial Code, Consumer Law and other relevant legislation
• Provide legal guidance primarily in these areas, including but not limited to consumer protection, personal data processes related to digital sales channels
• Draft, review and negotiate all kinds of contracts according to the requirements of business partners
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively inform relevant departments
• Conduct internal legal trainings and provide guidance on regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners, understand their specific legal needs
• Manage the archiving processes of all kinds of legal documents.
