Role Overview
The role involves end-to-end litigation management, dispute resolution, and property-related contracts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling complex cases, drafting agreements, and providing legal support to business teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end litigation across consumer disputes, arbitration, civil suits, and criminal complaints.

Draft, review, and file pleadings, affidavits, written statements, and responses in various courts/forums.

Coordinate with external counsels, monitor case progress, and prepare litigation strategies.

Maintain litigation MIS and provide regular updates to management.

Serve as the primary point of contact for legal escalations and grievances from internal and external stakeholders.

Manage escalations and resolve disputes arising from learners, educators, franchise partners, and third parties.

Draft and reply to legal notices, demand notices, and escalations received from learners, educators, franchise partners, landlords, and third parties.

Draft, review, and negotiate lease deeds, leave & license agreements, rent/lease renewals, termination notices, and related documentation.

Conduct due diligence for onboarding new properties, including title verification and compliance checks.

Ensure timely registration, stamping, and compliance for all property-related agreements.

Handle property-related litigation/disputes with landlords, vendors, or authorities.
Qualifications:

LL.B. from a recognized university;

4–6 years of PQE with proven experience in litigation, real estate, and dispute resolution (in-house/startup/edtech sector experience preferred).

Strong experience in litigation management (civil, consumer, arbitration, regulatory).

Expertise in handling disputes, escalations, and grievance redressal.

Proficiency in drafting/reviewing lease deeds, property agreements, and real estate due diligence.

Ability to liaise effectively with external counsels, regulators, and authorities.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills with a commercial mindset.

Excellent research and drafting abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
