Qualifications:

• Law degree from a reputable university,
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience (preferably in construction, energy, or large-scale project sectors),
• Knowledge of contract types used in construction projects and tender regulations,
• Experience in commercial law, obligations law, and labor law,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• Fluency in English (able to use effectively in daily business and contract negotiations) is essential,
• Knowledge of French is a plus,
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills,
• Willingness to travel and take on assignments abroad (such as in Africa, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, etc.).

Job Description:

• Preparation, review, and negotiation of legal documents related to FIDIC contracts worth $1 billion and above (main contract, subcontract, procurement, etc.),
• Providing legal consultancy on all company legal processes,
• Legal support during domestic and international tender processes,
• Management of lawsuits and enforcement proceedings involving the company, and coordination with domestic and international law firms,
• Monitoring of legal regulations and industry-specific developments, and informing the management team accordingly,
• Developing proactive legal strategies to prevent legal risks in the areas of labor law, commercial law, and law of obligations.
