Legal Counsel

Our client, a publicly traded company in Baltimore County, is currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join their established in-house legal team. The incumbent will focus on commercial agreements and contracts including real estate, technology, media and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting a variety of complex commercial agreements
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting real estate revenue and expense leases and purchase and sale agreements
• Assist with transactions, corporate governance, regulatory and other matters
• Collaborate with executives and outside counsel
• Conduct legal research

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
• Admission to one State Bar
• Five years of experience with real estate and/or commercial agreements
• Experience at a reputable law firm
• Strong contract law knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
