To join us as a Legal Counsel you’ll need:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements including but not limited to NDAs, , Software/IP Licensing Agreements, , Financing Agreements, Advertising and Marketing Agreements (promotions/sweepstakes) for all vertical businesses of Bitaksi
• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial, e-commerce, consumer protection, and data privacy matters.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including competition law and e-commerce regulations.
• Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory matters, including interactions with government agencies.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Conduct legal research, draft reports, and prepare legal opinions to support business and product teams.
• Provide strategic legal input on new business models, product launches, and operational decisions.
• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes affecting the e-commerce and technology industries.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on legal best practices and compliance.

You will:

• Bachelor's Degree in law required.
• Must have minimum 2 years of PQE
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience within technology or consumer goods would be desirable.
• Have knowledge of GDPR, mediation and case management
• Ability to manage official and judicial correspondence
• Fluency in English required
• Strong understanding of legal issues and risks pertinent to commercial contract process.
