Associate Manager - Legal
Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned in-house lawyer with 6-8 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation, disputes management as well as managing IPRs in India and Internationally.
Key Responsibilities :

Manage civil and criminal litigation matters including coordinating with external counsels

Draft, review and negotiate legal documents

Provide legal advice and support to various internal departments on dispute strategy, compliance and risk management

Support external lawyers for matters before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies and in arbitrations.

Monitor timelines and ensure compliance with procedural requirements related to litigation and dispute resolution

Maintain accurate case records, legal opinions and outcomes

Stay updated with relevant legislative changes that impact litigation and compliance
Skills & Qualification :
-
Approx 6-8 years of experience working in litigation / disputes management roles. Prior experience working in-house and liaising with business stakeholders. Candidate should have worked in house for atleast 2-3 years and a couple of years in a law firm / advocate / solicitor’s office.

LLB degree from recognized law school.

Proven track record of managing both civil and criminal litigation matters in a corporate and legal setting

Experience managing disputes and Ip in a tight and controlled budget.

Strong knowledge of civil and criminal litigation processes and procedures

Experience in handling litigation, coordination with external law firms

Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills for legal documents and stakeholder management

Ability to interpret laws, precedents and legal procedures

Understanding of corporate compliance, regulatory requirements and risk management framework

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple ongoing litigation matters and deadlines.

Proficiency in managing legal technology tools and documentation.

Experience working on provakil tool would be good to have.
