Legal Counsel

Title : In-House Legal Counsel

Location : Remote (Ideally based out of GA)

Job Type : Permanent/Direct Hire

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000 + 20% Bonus

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school
• 5-8 years of legal experience
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state

Nice to have :

• 3+ years of legal experience in-house
• Experience within the manufacturing/construction industries
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese)

Day-to-Day :

This Legal Counsel role blends strategic thinking with hands-on legal support across a variety of business functions. The individual in this position works closely with leadership and internal teams to guide decisions that balance growth with risk. Their day-to-day includes reviewing and negotiating contracts, supporting compliance across U.S., Canadian, and Latin American regulations, and advising on matters like employment law, data privacy, and intellectual property. They also help shape internal legal tools—like templates and playbooks—to streamline processes and improve turnaround times. Whether managing corporate filings, resolving disputes, or collaborating with external counsel, this person plays a key role in protecting the business while enabling innovation and expansion.
