Legal Counsel

A leading cloud-banking technology company is seeking a Product & Regulatory Counsel to support product development and regulatory strategy across consumer banking and lending solutions. This is a high-visibility role advising cross-functional teams and engaging directly with enterprise clients.

What You'll Do

• Advise product, engineering, and design on consumer finance and privacy regulations
• Identify regulatory risks and recommend practical, business-focused solutions
• Support partnerships and assess related compliance considerations
• Stay current on financial services laws and share guidance across teams
• Partner directly with customers’ legal/compliance teams

Requirements

• 5+ years combined experience (in-house, firm, or government)
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws (e.g., TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA)
• Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills
• JD + active bar license

Nice to Have

• SaaS / fintech experience
• Prior product counsel experience

Compensation

• Base: $190K–$230K + bonus + equity
