Job description

Key responsibilities

  • Draft and finalize agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to protect the company’s legal rights.​
  • Provide accurate and timely legal advice to executives on a range of legal matters.​
  • Work with management to design and support effective legal defense strategies.​
  • Support documentation work and formalities related to company formation.​
  • Define internal governance policies and monitor compliance on a regular basis.​
  • Research and assess risk factors related to business decisions and operations.​
  • Use effective risk management techniques and proactively advise on potential legal issues.​
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.​
  • Handle complex legal matters involving multiple stakeholders.​
  • Clarify legal language and specifications for team members across the organization.​
  • Perform all work with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.​
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in relevant legislation.​

  • Completing agreement reviews within defined timelines.​
  • Quality and practicality of legal inputs, suggestions, and findings.​
  • Positive feedback from supervisor and internal process owners.​
  • Contributions to process improvements and value additions.​

Desired skills and experience

  • Proven experience working as a Legal Counsel in a corporate or business setting.​
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate law and related procedures.​
  • Clear understanding of how external environmental factors impact a corporation.​
  • Demonstrated capability in developing defensive and proactive legal strategies.​
  • Master’s degree in Law with around four to five years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or financial services organization.​
  • Proficiency in using MS Office tools.​
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.​
  • Ability to structure solutions for complex legal and business problems.​
  • Demonstrated self-discipline and effective time management.​
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple assignments under pressure.​
  • Creativity and intuitive thinking in approaching legal issues.​
  • Consistent record of delivering work on time and within budget without compromising quality.​
  • Consistently maintains a confident, professional, positive, and realistic attitude.​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
