MERED, a reputable and award-winning international real estate developer with presence in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Mid-level Legal Counsel with 5+ years of experience in real estate development and general corporate and commercial law.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal support for real estate development projects in Abu Dhabi (Al Reem Island), including contract review and drafting with a focus on construction/FIDIC contracts, off-plan sales, and marketing activities.
- Prepare responses and detailed legal memoranda for management on applicable laws, rules, and regulations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ADGM jurisdictions.
- Deliver legal advice on general commercial and corporate matters related to day-to-day operations in Abu Dhabi.
- Draft and review corporate documents such as articles of association, corporate resolutions, powers of attorney, and related governance documents for Abu Dhabi and ADGM companies.
- Assist with license renewals, establishment cards, and other regulatory compliance, liaising effectively with government authorities and agencies.
- Coordinate with corporate service providers, external legal counsel, banks, public notaries, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Support due diligence processes for acquisitions and other projects.
- Monitor changes in real estate, commercial, and ADGM regulatory landscapes, ensuring company compliance and proactive advice.
- Provide legal support on labor and employment matters, with strong familiarity in ADGM Employment Regulations, and employment contract structuring.
- Support the Sales Team by addressing purchaser and agency inquiries, providing timely and accurate legal clarification on contractual, regulatory.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Project, Construction, Commercial, Marketing, Finance Teams to align legal support with business objectives.
Required Qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- Fluent English with strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of UAE federal law, Abu Dhabi local regulations, ADGM legal framework, and English law principles.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with reputable law firm or real estate developer.
- Hands-on experience working with ADGM entities is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
