Legal Recruitment Strategic Career Partner for Lawyers in the GCC Legal Counsel

A leading family group is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its corporate legal function in Dubai.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to provide legal expertise and services across diverse internal business units including retail, automotive, real estate, and will report to the Legal Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with principals, suppliers, and external counsel.
• Provide legal support for M&A, and a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters.
• Be the lead negotiator for various transactions.
• Provide subject matter expertise for compliance and governance.
• Advise management on legal matters, potential liabilities, and exposures to aid informed decision making.
• Investigate and analyse legal claims and complaints involving the Group.
• Draft oversight and control for transactions, excluding complex ones.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 years PQE
• Corporate private practice experience within a top firm preferred.
• Solid knowledge of regional and applicable international legal/regulatory guidelines.
• Proven good business and commercial acumen, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
