Your new role
To act as Legal Counsel and provide sound legal advice across a range of legal disciplines with a focus on real estate, commercial law, employment law, companies law and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Your Duties

Provide day-to-day support for company operational activities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements such as service contracts, supplier agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements

Draft, review, and amend a variety of legal documents including service contracts, supplier agreements, letters, tenders, and applications, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks and regulatory guidelines

Finalise agreements by performing tasks such as highlighting textual changes in draft documents

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, international best practices, and internal policies and procedures

Offer legal and regulatory advice to help mitigate financial, legal, and reputational risks

Assist the Head of Legal by staying informed on legislative and regulatory developments and conducting legal research as needed

Maintain and update standard templates as required

Support the Head of Legal in promoting corporate governance best practices

Manage legal databases and oversee document filing

Participate in meetings and committees as directed by the Head of Legal

Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed, including printing, copying, scanning, and filing

Performing any ad-hoc tasks as required by the business
What you'll need to succeed

At least 3 years of legal experience gained from a reputable/recognised law firm and a proven background in general corporate and commercial legal work

Knowledge of real estate, commercial law, employment law, companies’ law would be advantageous

Bachelor’s and master’s degree from a recognised/reputable university in law
-
Active membership from a recognized legal associate or regulatory body from a common law jurisdiction
-
Middle Eastern experience and knowledge of UAE laws and regulations is a key requirement
