Legal Counsel

Dr Mohamed Almur Advocates and Legal Consultants LLC, a well-established and reputable law firm based in Dubai, is seeking to recruit an experienced Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s litigation and advisory practice, providing high-quality legal services to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for, including but not limited to, the following:

• Providing timely, accurate, and practical legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters under UAE law
• Drafting legal memorandum, pleadings, submissions, and supporting documents for litigation before UAE courts
• Assisting in the preparation and review of case strategies, legal opinions, and court filings
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, including commercial, corporate, and service agreements
• Conducting legal research on UAE legislation, regulations, and judicial precedents
• Liaising with clients, courts, government authorities, and other stakeholders as required
• Supporting senior advocates in hearings, case preparation, and client advisory work
• Ensuring compliance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, and professional standards
• Managing multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university
• Minimum 5 years of proven legal experience in the UAE, preferably within a law firm or legal consultancy
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and court procedures
• Experience in litigation support and legal drafting is essential
• Excellent legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills
• Strong command of English and Arabic (Any additional language proficiency is a strong advantage)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Professional, organized, and client-focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
