We are seeking a Legal & Compliance team member to oversee and manage contractual process across Eczacıbaşı Group and monitor regulatory compliance at a team member level. This role is critical in managing contractual risk, ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations, and providing strategic legal guidance to business units.

What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?

• Taking a primary role in structuring, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating of daily contracts of Eczacıbaşı Group with an emphasis on Purchase Agreements, Service Agreements; Distribution Agreements, Lease Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and similar contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on KVKK requirements for internal projects; and evaluate and resolve data protection related requests.
• Implement actions to ensure compliance with KVKK and GDPR.
• Monitor the Commercial Electronic Communication processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Providing proactive solutions and legal advice to the needs of the business units of Eczacıbaşı Group (in the normal course of business).
• Monitor and track laws, regulations and legislations (including case laws/precedents), follow up and report regularly to the management and plan/organize educational seminars in case of any major changes in laws, regulations and legislations.

What kind of teammate are we looking for?

• Graduated from Law school and admitted to the Turkish Bar.
• 6 to 8 years’ experience in Contract Law, Code of Obligations, Data Protection Law/GDPR in a local/international law firm or as an in-house lawyer.
• Excellent command of English in both speaking and writing, second language German is desirable.
• Result oriented, excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Solid people management skills and ability to effective communication with many different levels of the business units.
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours.
• Completion of military service for male candidates.
• Residing in Istanbul.
