Legal Counsel – FinTech / AI (Riyadh, KSA)

TalentHive is partnering with a fast-growing FinTech / AI company based in Riyadh to appoint a Legal Counsel to support its expanding operations across Saudi Arabia. Role Overview

We are seeking a Saudi-qualified lawyer with strong knowledge of the local regulatory and legal landscape. This role will play a key part in ensuring compliance, managing legal documentation, and supporting day-to-day legal and administrative operations.

The position is open on both a full-time and part-time basis , and we welcome applications from expats currently based in Saudi Arabia with long-term local experience , provided all core requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across FinTech and AI-related operations
• Manage and review a range of commercial contracts and agreements
• Handle Power of Attorney (PoA) documentation , particularly relating to banking matters
• Support with regulatory compliance and liaise with relevant Saudi authorities
• Oversee employment-related legal matters , including Qiwa contracts
• Manage entry and exit visa processes for expatriate employees
• Ensure adherence to Saudi labour law and corporate governance standards
• Maintain strong legal documentation processes and administrative accuracy

Requirements

• Saudi-qualified lawyer (essential)
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of the Saudi legal and regulatory landscape
• Experience with Employment law (Qiwa)
• Regulatory compliance
• Corporate/commercial contracts
• Government processes (visas, PoA, etc.)
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred

• Prior experience within FinTech, AI, or technology-driven environments
• Experience working with banks or financial institutions

Expats with significant tenure in Saudi Arabia and deep local knowledge will also be considered.
