Job Purpose:
Provide legal advice to the various functions and departments of the Company and perform other professional legal assignments.
Main Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Perform analysis, conduct research and prepare and propose legal advice on a range of professional legal assignments while exercising prudence and independent judgment.

Review and advice on current legislation, treaties and regulations pertinent to Company operations.

Coordinate and maintain liaison with outside counsel and in preparation of statements of law and facts for consideration.

Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases and other legal papers.

Provide Legal Advice on issues arising from or related to actual or anticipated claims, discovery, arbitration and litigation.

Provide advice on Sadara’s legal issues facing with due regard to the laws of Saudi Arabia, other jurisdictions and international jurisprudence.

Prepare, respond and present oral and written arguments to formal complaints and briefs at court hearings and administrative proceedings.

Prepare legal documents in respect of commercial agreements.

Review corporate policies, processes and procedures with proponent departments to provide guidance on compliance with applicable laws.

Maintain an awareness of developments in the legal field relevant to the organization, including reviewing and reporting on the implications of any new legislation.

Perform any job-related activities as requested by the General Counsel.
Education:
Graduate level degree in law from an acceptable institution.
Professional Qualifications:
license to practice law in Saudi Arabia or an internationally acceptable jurisdiction.
