Legal Counsel

Regional - Legal Counsel (Egypt & Middle East) - Based in New Cairo

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to manage legal operations and regulatory compliance across Egypt and the Middle East. This role is designed for a professional with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience who can provide daily advisory support and oversee regional litigation.

The Role

As our Legal Counsel, you will be the backbone of our regional legal operations, providing daily advisory support and ensuring our business remains compliant and agile. This role balances high-level contract negotiation with hands-on litigation management and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
• Act as the primary liaison for external law firms. You will manage the entire litigation lifecycle, providing case briefs and reviewing legal submissions.
• Maintain our Legal Litigation Tracker, ensuring a real-time, centralized database of all active disputes and statuses.
• Keep our internal legal management systems updated with essential corporate documents for every entity.
• Implement digital workflows for contract approvals and identify ways to make our legal processes more efficient and scalable.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) within a reputable law firm or an in-house department.
• Full fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory for this role.
• A strong commitment to ensuring business activities align with both local regulations and internal corporate policies.
