Work Location: JAFZA, Dubai (office based)

Salary Package: AED 40K to 45K per month total + Bonus (annual, performance based and discretionary) + Family status (if applicable): visa, medical insurance, annual flights

About the Opportunity

A well established, international, oil and gas industrial player with over 1,000 employees and located in Jebel Ali Freezone, is seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel.

Required Profile

• 8+ years PQE in legal
• Ideally, you will come with a combination of some private practice experience at the start of your career followed by in-house counsel experience for a company or companies into oil, gas, heavy industry, manufacturing, construction types of business. The in-house work experience for a heavy industrial sector player is essential.
• Expertise in contract law and drafting contract agreements.
• Proactive approach with stakeholder management and relations.
• Must be able to train and develop a small team including a Paralegal.
• Familiar with new technologies for legal and process automation is advantageous.

Languages

• Fluency in English - mandatory
• Arabic fluency - preferred
