Legal Counsel

I am hiring an experienced Legal Counsel for one of our semi governemtn clients to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional with strong real estate and commercial contracting experience to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting a broad range of property, corporate, and operational matters across the business.

This role is a 6 month renewable contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements including retail, residential, office and land leases, licenses, amendments, NDAs, MOUs, procurement and marketing agreements
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Support property and asset transactions, negotiations, and legal risk management
• Review and standardize legal templates and documentation
• Liaise with external counsel, service providers, and relevant authorities
• Support legal reporting, governance, and process improvements
• Handle trademark and intellectual property-related matters
• Provide guidance on data protection matters within the UAE framework

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and qualified lawyer status
• 5-7 years' post-qualification experience within a reputable law firm or in-house legal team
• Minimum 3 years' experience advising on property and real estate matters
• Strong experience in leasing, commercial contracts, and negotiations
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong legal judgment and risk management capability
• Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in United Arab Emirates.
