About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our holding company and support both the parent entity and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on contracts, internal governance, regulatory compliance, and advisory support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
• Develop, draft, and review internal policies and procedures, and oversee their implementation and enforcement across the group.
• Ensure the company and its subsidiaries operate in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise the business on their impact.
• Provide timely, practical legal advice to executives and management to support sound business decisions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the group’s operations.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); a relevant Master’s degree or professional qualification is an advantage.
• 4–5 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in-house or within a corporate/commercial environment.
• Solid knowledge of Qatari laws and regulations, particularly in corporate, commercial, and contract law.
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
• Experience advising on corporate governance and internal policy matters.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters across a group of companies and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 per month
