A senior contributor who leads complex negotiations, manages and mentors the team, shapes compliance and defines our privacy & AI risk posture, and sets up the company to scale into exciting new products and geographies
What you’ll do

Deal Capta
in: Pod leader for Tier-1 Enterprise MSAs, RFPS, Licensing Structures (banks/telcos/regulated fintech), across multiple regions (India/SEA/MEA/US).

Privacy & compliance le
ad: Own the DPDP program, DPIAs, cross-border addenda, sub-processor reviews, incident playbooks, and readiness reporting

Product & IP strate
gy: Advise on AI model guardrails, export-control flags, trademark/brand protection

Process architectu
re: Design legal intake, metrics, and clause governance in HyperStart CLM; enable self-serve NDAs/OFs; optimize cycle efficiencies

ce: Work with leadership on board governance, policy updates, and M&A (diligence, ancillary docs, post-close integrations).

Close one complex Tier-1 Enterprise Bank MSA; publish Compliance Radar for identified teams/geos, mentoring teams

Must-haves

years in TMT/fintech/SaaS; evidence of leading complex MSAs and multi-stakeholder compliance programs

Have a litigation-only background without hands-on commercial/SaaS contracting.

Haven’t led enterprise MSAs/RFPs or negotiated liability/indemnity/SLA structures.

Lack practical DPDP/GDPR execution (DPIAs, sub-processors, incident playbooks).

Prefer an advisory-only (outside-counsel) model vs. shipping redlines and closing deals.

Can’t work in a hybrid Bengaluru setup with reasonable India/SEA time-zone overlap.
