We are seeking a strategic and experienced Legal Director to lead the organization’s legal function, provide expert legal counsel to senior leadership, and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will oversee all legal matters, including corporate governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution, while acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team.
Lead and execute the company’s legal strategy aligned with business objectives.
Advise executive leadership on legal risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
Oversee corporate governance practices, board support, and regulatory filings.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, partnerships, and contracts.
Establish contract management frameworks and approval processes.
Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage disputes, litigation, and external legal counsel relationships.
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure business alignment with legal requirements.
Develop and enforce internal policies and legal procedures.
Lead and develop the legal team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Partner with cross-functional leaders (HR, Finance, Operations) on legal matters.
Manage relationships with external law firms and control legal spend.
Evaluate legal services and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) is a plus.
10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
Proven experience managing complex legal matters and advising senior leadership.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC legal environments.
Experience in industries such as industrial, construction, or financial services.
Admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
Experience managing in-house legal teams and external counsel.
Full-time position with an onsite model.
