Position: General Litigator Counsel

Location: Houston TX – Flexible Working Options

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including but not limited to business litigation, contract disputes and other litigation matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strategize and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay abreast of legal developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in Texas..
• years of experience in general litigation.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic counsel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay is on an hourly basis based on how many hours worked on the matter. Please note the work comes on an ad hoc basis, number of hours cannot be guaranteed.
