Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Legal Executive
to join our transport company in Egypt. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts while also handling other legal aspects of the business, such as compliance, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of legal frameworks related to the transport and logistics industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Contract Management

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including service agreements, vendor agreements, and lease contracts.

Ensure all contracts are legally sound, comply with company policies, and protect the organization's interests.

Maintain a database of contracts and track renewals, amendments, and terminations.
Legal Compliance

Ensure the company adheres to local, national, and international laws and regulations, particularly those governing the transport and logistics industry.

Provide advice on legal risks and mitigation strategies related to business operations.

Assist in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
Dispute Resolution

Handle disputes, claims, or complaints, ensuring resolutions are achieved efficiently and in line with legal protocols.

Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings when required.
Policy Development and Implementation

Assist in developing and updating company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Provide training and awareness sessions for employees on legal and compliance matters.
Liaison and Advisory

Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed and manage legal service providers effectively.

Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including operations, procurement, and HR.

Review legal documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Documentation and Record-Keeping

Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents, correspondence, and filings.

Prepare legal reports and summaries for management as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a Master’s degree in Law is a plus.

3–5 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in the transport or logistics industry.

Proven expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts.

Strong understanding of Egyptian commercial and corporate laws.

Excellent command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

High attention to detail and excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
