Legal Intake Clerk

We are looking for an experienced assistant to support our new client intake/onboarding department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to new client intake/onboarding department
  • Assist with communication between firm and clients, insurance companies, police departments, and medical providers etc.
  • Prepare and file basic legal documents and correspondence
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Create, maintain and update digital client files using cloud-based case management system
  • Monitor deadlines and manage calendar for client meetings, etc

Skills

  • Proven experience as an admin assistant or secretary (personal injury law firm and/or intake experience ++)
  • Ability to learn and follow firm onboarding procedures and practices
  • Written/spoken proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Proficient computer skills (prior knowledge of cloud-based legal case management software ++)
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
