Legal Intern (CO-OP)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Legal Intern to join our team for a co-op term. This is a great opportunity for a law student to gain real-world experience working with an in-house legal team. You’ll support our lawyers with legal research, drafting documents, and helping with day-to-day legal tasks.

Responsibility:

• Research legal issues and write short memos
• Review and help draft contracts and other legal documents
• Support the team with internal policies and compliance work
• Help organize legal files and documents
• Join meetings and take notes when needed
• Stay up to date on laws and regulations that affect our business

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a law school or legal studies program
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Strong writing and research skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal research tools
