Requirements –
- · Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) — completed or in the final year.
- · 6 -12 months of internship or work experience in taxation, GST, or litigation will be an add-on.
- · Fundamental knowledge of indirect tax laws, GST Act, and related procedures.
- · Familiarity with legal drafting, client correspondence, and documentation.
- · Basic understanding of legal proceedings before tribunals and appellate forums.
- · Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced legal environment
Responsibilities-
- Lead and manage GST representation, audits, and litigation cases.
- Draft detailed replies, submissions, appeals, and assist clients with audit queries and show cause notices.
- Appear before various GST authorities and appellate forums on behalf of clients.
- Supervise juniors in preparing documentation and ensure quality compliance.
- Interpret GST law and case laws to provide accurate advisory and risk management solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand business models and suggest GST structuring.
- Keep abreast of legal updates and drive internal knowledge sessions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for holistic client support
