About the Role:
We are looking for a sharp and motivated legal intern to join our team, focusing on the high-stakes area of corporate insolvency, restructuring, and distressed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research on matters related to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and stressed asset transactions.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing applications, petitions, claims, and other documents for NCLT proceedings.
  • Analyse Scheme of Arrangement proposals and assist in due diligence for potential acquisitions under the IBC.
  • Help track case laws, IBBI regulations, and updates on corporate insolvency resolution processes (CIRP) and liquidation.
  • Support the legal team in maintaining case files, compliance checklists, and transaction documents.

Qualifications:

  • Currently in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year LL.B. programme or pursuing/pursued LL.M.
  • Demonstrated interest and academic coursework in corporate law, IBC, banking law, or mergers & acquisitions.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in legal databases.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
