POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide representation, legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure effective operation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and appropriate admission to required state Bar plus six (6) years’ experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in litigation
- In-depth litigation experience, required
- Experience in liability and workers compensation claims, preferred
- Strong research and writing skills, as well as negotiation and settlement evaluation, communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, including efficient time management
Sr Counsel-Litigation:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and appropriate admission to required state Bar plus ten (10) years’ experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in litigation
- In-depth litigation experience, required
- Experience in liability and workers compensation claims, preferred
- Excellent research and writing skills, as well as negotiation and settlement evaluation, communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, including efficient time management
- Juris doctorate degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the required state bar, plus twelve (12) years’ experience as an attorney with at least one (1) year of FedEx experience and three (3) years’ experience in Litigation
- In-depth litigation experience, required
- Experience in liability and workers compensation claims, preferred
- Excellent research and writing skills, as well as negotiation and settlement evaluation, communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, including efficient time management
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Additional Details: This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight location several times per week.
