Real estate and rental disputes: Strong experience in landlord–tenant, sale and purchase, development and owners’ association disputes.

litigation: Solid understanding of Dubai court procedures, filings, timelines and enforcement in civil and real estate matters.

Arbitration: Experience handling real estate/construction arbitrations

Bilingual advocacy: Arabic with strong legal drafting skills, plus fluent English for client, internal and external communications.

Commercial awareness: Ability to align dispute strategy with a large developer’s business objectives, reputation and cost considerations.

Case management: Organised, able to manage multiple contentious files, meet deadlines and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Key responsibilities

Advise Damac’s internal teams on real estate and rental disputes, explaining risks, options and likely outcomes.

Draft and file claims, defences, memoranda and applications in Arabic and English before courts and rental/real estate dispute forums (e.g. RDC).

Manage arbitration proceedings related to real estate or construction, including notices, pleadings and liaison with arbitral institutions.

Attend and represent Damac at court hearings, expert meetings, mediations, arbitrations and settlement discussions.

Conduct legal research on real estate, tenancy and civil procedure laws and apply these to live matters affecting Damac projects.

Oversee enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards, coordinating execution steps with relevant authorities.
