Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documentation to safeguard the company’s interests and minimize legal risks.
  • Provide legal advice and opinions to management and internal departments on matters related to the company’s operations and regulatory obligations.
  • Support the preparation, review, and approval of contracts and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and review company announcements and disclosures required .
  • Manage and follow up on litigation matters and disputes in coordination with external legal counsel, while leading selected legal cases when required.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department and external parties on settlements, claims, and potential litigation matters.
  • Provide legal support and guidance related to Board of Directors’ resolutions, corporate governance, and shareholders’ matters.
  • Conduct proactive legal assessments of management decisions and provide recommendations to reduce potential legal exposure and protect the company’s interests.
  • Participate in the selection and appointment of external legal advisors, including negotiating engagement terms and fee arrangements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and service quality of external legal advisors on a periodic basis.
  • Monitor compliance practices across all departments and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the company’s business and operations.
  • Advise internal departments on changes in laws, regulations, rules, and regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the business.
  • Keep senior management and the Board informed of significant legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters.
