Job Title: Legal Officer

Department: Legal

Reports To: Legal Advisor


Job Summary:

The Legal Officer provides legal advice and support to ensure the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements of UAE Authorities. This role is responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing legal risks, and supporting the resolution of legal disputes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on corporate, contractual, labor, regulatory, and litigation matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure the company complies with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with external counsel on legal proceedings and represent the company in legal matters where necessary.
  • Support the legal aspects of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up to date on relevant legislation and case law.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures.
  • Assist in handling corporate governance and compliance matters.
  • Manage legal documentation and maintain accurate legal records.
  • Train or advise internal teams on legal issues, risks, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); additional qualification (LL.M or Bar Admission) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Legal Officer, Legal Counsel, or in a similar legal role.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate, labor, and commercial law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and office software.
