Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Officer – Trade, Fintech, Real Estate to support the company’s legal operations across the company’s activities within the UAE and, on rare occasions, abroad. The role involves hands-on legal work, contract management, regulatory compliance, and coordination with government authorities and external legal counsel to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations.

The work will be within the company’s legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day legal support across the company’s trade, fintech, and real estate activities within the UAE, and on rare occasions, in cross-border matters.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, including commercial agreements, service agreements, NDAs, fintech-related agreements, and real estate documentation.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE federal and local laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements applicable to trade, fintech, and real estate sectors.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and advise relevant stakeholders on legal implications and required actions.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, and free zone authorities (e.g., licensing, registrations, renewals, approvals, and filings).
  • Support fintech compliance matters, including licensing, regulatory submissions, and interactions with relevant financial and technology regulators.
  • Assist with real estate legal matters, including leases, property acquisitions/disposals, registrations, and related due diligence.
  • Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including resolutions, powers of attorney, and statutory filings.
  • Liaise with and manage external legal counsel, including preparing briefs, reviewing advice, and monitoring costs and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate legal records, contract databases, and compliance documentation.
  • Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to mitigate exposure.
  • Assist in handling disputes, claims, and regulatory inquiries, under the supervision of senior legal counsel where applicable.
  • Provide due diligence & property transactions, including: conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions and developments; assist in transaction structuring, documentation, and closing activities.
  • Maintain organized legal records, contracts, and regulatory filings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of legal experience, with mandatory UAE experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal fields.
  • Hands-on experience with sale and purchase agreements, title transfers, leasing, and developer-related documentation.
  • Ability to draft and review legal documents independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with a real estate developer, brokerage, or construction company in the UAE is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
