Job Summary:
The purpose of this Legal Secretary I position is to provide the necessary administrative support for the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Division. This position assists with maintaining the electronic judicial docket in specialized legal areas including Worker’s Compensation and other areas within the jurisdiction of the Industrial Commission.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Selective Preference(s):
Working knowledge of Arizona Workers' Compensation claims processing procedures, including the hearing process. Experience working with judicial case management systems. Secretarial and/or office training courses: and on the job training (1year).

Retirement:
You will be eligible to participate in the state employee health/disability insurance plan, and you are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). ASRS participation may begin immediately or upon your 27th week of employment. Contributions are matched by the employer.
