Duties
- Manage and maintain legal case files using document management systems.
- Conduct thorough legal resources to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity.
- Assist attorneys with document review, organization, and data entry for litigation, transactional work, or regulatory compliance.
- Schedule appointments, court dates, client meetings, and coordinate interviews while maintaining an organized calendar.
- Prepare transcripts and transcriptions for court proceedings or client interviews with attention to detail.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing phone etiquette, organizing files, handling incoming correspondence, and supporting project management efforts across multiple practice areas.
Experience
- Paralegal experience or legal administrative experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear legal drafts and perform proofreading with high accuracy.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in managing complex schedules, filing systems, and document review processes.
- Experience in interviewing clients or witnesses is a plus for supporting case development efforts.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced law office environment.
