Employment type:
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday
Work location:
- Remote but must reside within 90 minutes of downtown Los Angeles
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Set up macros, database folders
- Calendaring/docketing
- Word and PDF and in proper naming convention
- Maintaining electronic court clips/database files
- Maintaining Master Case List and Conflicts List/Calendar
- Uploading discovery
- Organizing/tracking fee agreements/expert agreements and preparing drafts of same
- Finalizing filings, correspondence, and discovery productions
- Cite checking
- Proofreading
- PDF-ing/attaching exhibits
- Affixing e-signatures
- Bates-stamping
- Filing and serving pleadings
- Mailing/E-mailing/Shipping case-related documents (e.g., discovery or correspondence)
- Scheduling state court hearings, VTCs, Court Calls
- Calling courts/clerk’s office re filing and procedures
- Ordering transcripts/state court documents
- Handling notices of appearance and pro hac vice applications (including certificates of good standing and ECF registrations)
- Assisting recruiting team with recruiting functions
- Notetaking at firm meetings (when necessary)
- Creating shell pleadings/inputting information into Macros/Templates
- Creating shell engagement letters
- Performing other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Great organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Strong computer skills/troubleshooting
