Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to join our dynamic law office. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal administrative skills and a thorough understanding of various areas of law. This role is essential in supporting attorneys with their daily operations, ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and efficiently.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys by managing schedules, appointments, and communications.
  • Prepare, file, and review legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research to assist in case preparation.
  • Transcribe legal documents and correspondence with precision.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits as required.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements.

Requirements

  • At least three years of litigation experience as a legal secretary.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with Insurance law or public entity defense is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in document review processes and legal research techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
