The Practice Coordinator provides high-level administrative and practice support to assigned attorneys, playing a key role in the efficient management of schedules, client matters, billing, and practice-related projects. This role combines strong organizational skills, legal administrative expertise, and a client-service mindset to support a fast-paced practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex attorney calendars, meetings, deadlines, and travel arrangements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and finalize legal and administrative documents
- Open and close client matters, process conflicts, and assist with engagement letters
- Support billing and financial tasks, including time entry, pre-bill review, invoicing, and expense reimbursements
- Coordinate practice-related projects, meetings, and events
- Partner with Billing, Marketing, IT, and other departments to support client needs
- Maintain electronic and paper files in compliance with firm policies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, billing processes, and document management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, and legal billing software (Aderant or 3E preferred)
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
